Mission:

To identify, recruit and support minority educational professionals for the Cleveland Area Minority Educators Recruitment Association agencies.

Purpose:

Develop coordinated recruitment and retention of qualified minority educators that will enable member agencies to diversify their faculty more effectively.

Goals:

• Provide prospective education professionals with the opportunity to network with representatives of member school agencies.

• Hire, support and retain minority education professionals in member agencies

• Promote improved multi-cultural and multi-racial relations within member agencies

• Encourage each school agency to inform and support a Future Educators of America Club. CAMERA will support the annual state meeting registration fee for member educational agencies

CAMERA will be represented at the Ohio Minority Recruitment Consortium spring and fall meetings

Promulgate recruiting, training, service and other educational programming that CAMERA deems beneficial for developing and maintaining diverse staff.

Work Cooperatively and non competitively on all CAMERA efforts.
